Privacy first
Your finances are personal. DeadFinance is designed so you stay in control of your data — no selling your spending habits.
Founder, DeadFinance
I built DeadFinance because I needed it myself — not as a startup pitch, but as a tool to stop guessing where my money went every month.
Also known online as DeadShot
I live in Switzerland and manage my finances in francs like everyone else here — rent, health insurance, taxes, and the quiet stress of not knowing what's left at month end.
DeadFinance started as a spreadsheet, then a Discord bot on my personal server, then a mobile app. Every feature exists because I wished I had it two years earlier.
I'm not a financial advisor and DeadFinance doesn't pretend to be one. It's a clarity tool — built in the open, for people who want control without giving up their privacy.
Your finances are personal. DeadFinance is designed so you stay in control of your data — no selling your spending habits.
No promises of getting rich. Just an honest picture: what you have, what you spend, what you can still spend this month.
CHF, Swiss cost of living, taxes, insurance — the app reflects real life here, in four languages.
The roadmap is public. I share what works and what's next — because trust is earned, not marketed.
DeadFinance will never rely on advertising — and Free will never become a teaser you have to pay to escape. Cloud exists for backup and sync, not to unlock a usable app.
Another Swiss project
We are also building the Swiss marketplace to buy and sell used padel rackets. Same francs, same idea: spend less on gear without giving up quality — and get value back when you upgrade.

DeadFinance wasn't born as a startup.
It wasn't created in a meeting room.
It wasn't built after reading market research.
It started with a real problem — one I was living through myself.
There was a stretch when opening my bank app meant stress. Bills, installments, priorities piling up — and still no clear picture of where my money was actually going.
DeadFinance didn't come from a market opportunity. It came from that feeling.
Where does my money go?
Excel, stress, and the same question every month.

The journey has just begun.
“I'll start saving for taxes ahead — instead of chasing them every year.”
Over time, that spreadsheet became a Discord bot on my personal server. Its name was DeadFinance. The name came naturally.
For years I've used the nickname DeadShot in games and online communities. My personal tools grew under the same identity — not as a brand exercise, but as things I actually used.
Eventually, the Discord bot wasn't enough. I wanted something that could genuinely help people understand their finances — so I started building the app from scratch.
Every screen exists because I kept thinking: I would have wanted this two years ago.
“I didn't want to feel lost anymore when I opened my bank app.”
Its purpose is much simpler. To help you always know:
— without the stress of guessing.
Our mission
Financial clarity. Every day.
The future
Today, DeadFinance is built for Switzerland.
Tomorrow, it may help people around the world.
But the philosophy stays the same: Know your money. Own your future.
DeadFinance is coming to App Store and Google Play. Explore the app on the homepage or read guides on the blog.
